Yea so we got this new chair, and it's the exact color of milk chocolate. Every time I look at it, I feel the need to eat something from the chocolate stash in the fridge. It doesn't help that, while sitting in the chair, I enjoy using my new tiny Acer laptop - which is, well, just half the size of my lap...

Jay (and by "Jay" I mean "we") received a lovely parcel by priority post this week, the contents of which, and in which, I have been enjoying a myriad of hot beverages, including and almost limited to green tea and decaf coffee. If one must drink decaf, I highly recommend you acquire the whole foods brand, no matter how spendy, because it is the only one I have found that doesn't taste like dirty styrofoam, and then you should drink it out of a "Jay" cup. During the limited time I have had to bond, ever so strongly, to this cup, I can't help but think how tragic and telling it is that it is impossible to find an "Ashlee" cup with the correct spelling of "Ashlee", and that really the closest thing to the correct spelling of "Ashlee" must be J-A-Y. This really can be the only explanation...

Takin' It Down A Notch for FL

When we are cruising the highways and biways of FL, our "sweet ride" is a 16 year old honda with faded paint. Now we are turning even more heads with a windshield accessory created by Ribhard. While we remembered to pack our Garmin for spring break travels, we neglected to include the suction cup windshield mount. Ribhard solved this problem with a trip to his favorite store, Dollar World. Ingredients: $1 package of clear suction cups, 2 hair clips, 2 rubber bands, and don't forget..the GENIUS! Now we never get lost - unless the mapped route falls under the rubber band...

Not sure about this one....

Apparently, Mags owns (or used to own) a casino in addition to her gigs as Mechanical Engineer and Singer/Songwriter. We found this old sign while we were out antique/junk shopping this weekend.

and they were pretty sure abzugg and Leopold would be very damn excited and receptive to all of us suggesting baby names...(yall know how we get constantly bombarded with baby news several times a day from them?) ..anyway my first offering is :

Acacia - according to the world wide web the name Acacia comes from Spanish origins meaning Honorable. In the Bible, acacia wood was used to build the wilderness Tabernacle.. jay being a wood and tree kinda guy and both of them being outdoors people and abbzug speaking Spanish stuff...i think it would work well.

So ......Polvo...
