Ribhard lined up for the closest to the pin shot over the water...he took a mighty swing and the ball sailed hundreds of yards directly towards the green,landing inches from the hole..his patented fast english back spin drew the ball backwards..hopping quickly and hit the pin, bouncing off towards the front green edge...stopping on the green..just 1/4" from the frog hair fringe..........the crowd exploded in screams of excitment and joy.Ribhard tipped his hat and walked briskly across the bridge to his winning shot........his opponents bowed low as he walked by......."

if I remember the situation correctly, Ribhard could have used an extra inch or two in length...
"sadly" he told me "That's not the first time someone has told me that"
along those same lines...I have often heard it is not the baton ...but the conductor that counts ...when music is to be made.........
