As you may know I work for an international company headquarted in South Korea. In my office people speak everything from English to Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and even some Arabic dialects.
Anyway I took a quick survey of my employees and none has ever seen our nightly "cleaning crew". However, when there is a large box or something that they want disposed of, that might not look like trash, they'll write "Basura" on it... and I wonder, what if the cleaning people spoke Chinese or German or something?

"Basura" on it...thats funny that you should say that...I have never seen or heard that word before and I saw a recycle bin at DIA the other day that said "No Basura"...sounds columbian to me.
1. basura
Spanish word for garbage.
?Donde esta la basura?
Where is the garbage?
2. basura
Reference to people with no class or minimal values in latin languages, particularly trailer park residents and those with violent tendencies or drug habits but also limited fashion sense. It remains to be seen if the term is a part of racist or hate language.
Street slang for drugs purchased in powder form.
